Two techniques are used in the office to help aid in the healing of soft tissue dysfunctions. Myofascial release is preformed manually by the doctor, and IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) can also be applied using a specialized stainless steel instrument. Both techniques will help the doctor locate any dysfunction, break up any restrictions/adhesions, and increase blood flow and healing of the area.
